Gugok’s Frozen Waterfall and Gutsy Ice Climbers

Last winter was cold and gloomy. In February, I desperately wanted to get away from Seoul for a day. Most of our friends were travelling to warmer climates. We didn’t have a choice and chose to visit a frozen waterfall. Getting There: We took the Gyeongchun Line to Gangchon Station. We found some signboards (outside…

The Not-So-Instant Life

The walking trail that circles Songaksan offers splendid views of the sea, rocky cliffs, and neighbouring islands. It's one of the most scenic trails we've walked on. The craters (somewhere in the centre) weren't clearly visible. It didn't really matter because the natural beauty of the coast was stellar. #walks #trails #jejudo #songaksan #travel #naturephotography #photography📷 #cliff #paths #weekendgetaway #korea #autumn #marinepark #volcanicrock #volcanic #island #scenery #landscape

Nature's transience is deceptive. I'm not sure if I should enjoy the changing colours or dread gloomy winter. #autumn #views #seoul #temples #naturephotography #nature #travel #photography📷 #walks #winteriscoming #tranquility #peace #korea #findingyourself #awayfromthecrowd #november

The Ulsanbawi hiking trail was one of our shortest hikes. The first strech was literally a walk in the forest followed by a steep climb up a looong stairway clinging to the rocky face of the mountain. The youngest hiker was 5 years and the oldest was in her seventies. Clearly, age is just a number! #ulsanbawi #koreanmountain #hikes #summer #bluesky #mountaintrail #naturelovers #discoverkorea #travelphotography #photography📷 #naturephotography #nationalparks #holidays #imagineyourkorea #mountainview #mountains
