So far, the new year’s been a bumpy ride. Bad news has outweighed the good. And despondency is slowly taking over.
It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.
This year, especially the next few months, look sketchy. It will be difficult to predict – with certainty – the outcome of our decisions. Have they been right? And if they were wrong, would it be easier to lay the blame on destiny?
If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.
I’m hesitant to change. Don’t get me wrong. I get bored very easily and need to do something different constantly. But, when it comes to the everyday, I like a routine. I guess, the fear of trying something new and failing dominates my need for change.
Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.
With the shadows of doubt looming large, there’s little that can be done. But, I can hope to stay positive through it all. Perhaps, somethings are just meant to be.
