Where is our happy place?

Let me rephrase that. When is it – that we’re the most happy?

Along the River Han – Seoul, South Korea.

When we get a chance to kick-off our shoes and feel the cool water.

Sarchu, India.

When we leave concrete roads for earthy gravel.

Wonderland. Think we found it!
Nara, Japan.
When we chance upon moments, like these, that seem like a fairytale setting.
Seoul, South Korea.
And when we meet people, who we may never meet again, and yet will always remain etched in our memory.

  1. This was such a touching post. I agree with every single line. Happiness lies in the simplest of moments, simple fleeting moments. The last shot – what great timing and the man looks so happy to pose for your shit while painting that fan. It made me smile, what a wonderful shot 🙂

Also, the first photo spoke to me. After a long day at work, I love soaking my feet in cold water 😀

    1. Thanks Mabel! Your comment made our day. And we couldn’t stop laughing for, “the man looks so happy to pose for your shit”. We bought a hand painted fan from him and asked if we could click his snap – while he painted. He misunderstood and posed for us.

      1. Oh dear. What a typo. The last word was supposed to be “shot”. But all in good humour 😀 I am sure he painted that fan you bought with a lot of heart. It shows in his face ❤

      2. And now I’m laughing! 🙂 Don’t worry, typos happen. I cringe every time I read my posts or comments. The worst part is that it’s not easy to edit comments once you’ve hit ‘Enter’.

    1. Thanks Indah! I think travel gives us hope to get through the everyday. You know, the ‘normalcy’ of it. And I was down with the flu and I was wondering, “Where is our happy place?”. Definitely, on the road. 🙂
