It’s our fifth and final day of the 5-day monochrome photo challenge. We started our theme, ‘People around the World’, from the far east (India) and will end it today in the west(America). A big thank you to L, from seeingthrough35mm, for inviting us to participate in this challenge. Here are some snippets of Basil’s solo trip to New York in 2012.

“By all means, marry.
If you get a good wife, you’ll become happy;
if you get a bad one, you’ll become a philosopher.”
– Socrates

“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
(Who will guard the guards themselves?)
– Decimus Iunius Iuvenalis
As with most challenges – we’ve got to pass it on! We’d like to invite Daniel from joshidaniel to participate in this challenge. Daniel’s photography, especially portraits, is pretty exceptional. I’m not sure if he will participate, but am pretty glad to have an opportunity to share his link to all those who enjoy excellent photography!
What are the Rules?
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using a recent or past photo in black and white.
2. Each day, invite another fellow blogger to join you in your photo-journey.
All the best!
From wedding to a Policeman 🙂 nice images and congrats on the challenge!
Thanks Indah! 🙂
Haha I like the quote about marriage. Neither of you are a philosopher I hope? 😛
L, you could say we have our moments, in which, we turn into philosophers. 🙂 Travel successfully erases those moments.
Indeed. Unless travel goes horribly wrong, then we turn into professors of philosophy
There’s no saying what can happen on a trip. You might enjoy reading https://twobrownfeet.com/2014/11/19/15-ways-to-prove-murphys-law-on-a-trip/
I’d say, if you love someone, put them to the travel test. And if you come back together – chances are you’ll make it! 🙂
Congratulations for completing the challenge. I hope you had fun 🙂
Thanks Gin! Yes, it was fun. Just back from China. Still settling before I can start blogging. 🙂
Can’t wait to read about your adventures !! Welcome back 🙂
