“Fear Of The Dark”

I am a man who walks alone
And when I’m walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it’s dark.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something’s always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone’s always there.

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no one’s there?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you’re sure there’s
Someone there.

Quite an interesting series here…
All are Creepy, indeed π
It is, isn’t it? π
Absolutely …
To me, the third one, that of the tree looks perfect for the interesting perspective and the use of light π
Consider a trip to Meghalaya. I’m sure you’ll get equally interesting snaps! π
I am certainly looking forward to explore Meghalaya …
Winter months would be ideal time, I feel , right?
Yes! Winter is perfect and the time during Feb-March (a one week window period) is perfect to see blossoms. We didn’t realise that one can see fruit blossoms in India. In Japan, China and Korea it’s a big thing. You can read a rather longish post of ours here:- https://twobrownfeet.com/2014/05/15/part-1-meghalaya-the-enchanting-scottish-hills-of-the-east/
Would be happy to offer any other trip related advice that you may need. Have a great week!
Sure, I’ll certainly contact you during my planning phase π
You’re not alone because I’m guessing everyone’s felt this at times.
Rightly said! I almost spooked myself as I drafted this post. π
Pretty creepy π love the way you mix it with creepy images and words! Perfectly creepy post! – the last image is impressive!
Thanks Indah! The words are the lyrics from an Iron Maiden song. π
I had no idea π
I secretly hoped someone would comment on the song. π
