Our camp-site at Kirkjubæjarklaustur (Iceland) was the perfect escape from urban mayhem. We didn’t spot a soul for miles – except for three other campers. Fresh gets a new meaning in the Icelandic summer. Everything’s green – if isn’t white. And after a mildly annoying drizzle, nature gets a new burst of life.
Lovely images – yes, green nature also means fresh 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Thanks Indah! It’s Basil’s handiwork. 🙂 I can almost smell the grass. Have a super week!
Sounds like a great time.

Hi Janet! In hindsight, every trip sounds like fun. 🙂 But, back then, we were really tired and barely slept beyond 5:00 am in the morning. Without sleeping bags, mornings were pretty cold. But, yeah, that’s what makes the experience fun!:)
I miss the Icelandic nature 🙂 The colours are so vivid ! Have a nice (and sunny ?) week !
We too! And we hope we can go back someday. 🙂 On this side of the world (East), you bet it’s sunny! 🙂 Have a great (sunny) week you too!
The weather is quite good today, I’m really in a good mood ! Blue sky, and shunshine 🙂
I can imagine. Blue skies and sunshine is always better than grey! 🙂
